Hey, we’re Stanford O-Tone!

Looking for a campus group that feels like home? Then, audition for O-Tone, Stanford’s all-gender East Asian Interest a cappella group! We primarily perform songs from all genres by East Asian, Asian American, and other Asian Diasporic artists. No language or singing experience is required!!

We welcome people from all cultures and backgrounds, and whether you’re a curious freshman or a grad student looking for a creative break, we’d love to hear your voice! As a student led organization, our members play integral roles in arranging all of our music and sharing it with as many communities as we can. This past year, we had the privilege of traveling to Beijing, Hong Kong, and Las Vegas, performing at festivals and other fun gigs along the way, and we’re looking forward to even more fun trips to come!

We also love to spend time together off the stage. Our rehearsals are fueled by way too many snacks, and when we're not singing you'll probably find us grabbing meals on/off campus, belting our hearts out at karaoke, or just hanging out for the fun of it!

If any of this piques your interest, come say hi to us at White Plaza during NSO or catch our performance at O-Show on Sept. 19th to learn more! We’re so excited to meet you 🥳
